So why did this short make me cry? I can’t exactly say. However, these moments never feel disgusting or funny. Much like in Rick and Morty, there’s something distinctly sexual about the alien elements of the short. It’s never entirely clear what the two crew members are trying to do, but they’re doing it in such an assured way, it becomes oddly comforting to watch them work.
